was born in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in a military family and lived all over the United States and Europe until he too joined the Air Force as a Navigator after he graduated from Texas A&M in 1971 with a BS Degree in Chemistry. In 1975 he earned a Masters Degree in International Relations from Webster University. After serving his country for 25 years he retired as a Lt Col and went to the University of Texas – San Antonio where he earned his BBA in Accounting graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1999. Later that year he took and passed the CPA exam.
While in San Antonio, he worked for a CPA firm from 1999 to 2007 preparing individual, partnership, and corporate returns. During that time, he also worked as a volunteer tax preparer for the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and for two years as an AARP Tax Counselor. In 2007, he moved to the Houston area where he worked for a CPA firm in the Galleria area preparing individual, partnership, and corporate returns.
In 2009, he joined with Heritage Plus Financial.
